Duende (n.), the feeling of profound awe experience when viewing a piece of art, watching a performance or listening to music that has deeply moved a person.My inspiration was derived from my background in music as a cellist. It is interesting how people interpret musical melodies in different ways, the feelings they get, the things they invasion. What are the different ways we can visualize musical notations ? Data Analysis is a process of inspecting, cleaning, transforming, and modeling data with the goal of discovering useful information, suggesting conclusions, and supporting decision-making. I chose to translate musical notations into data blocks, color coding each note. Thus creating an experience of being inside the musical piece. The project is divided into three parts. A 3D game, where the user can take a journey into the a maze to complete the musical piece ; a glass model, where the user can look at the piece from different angles and lastly as 3D animation explaining how I personally feel going through the musical blocks.
